ABCF Young Investigator Award

Viewing to incentive and reward solid scientific research in Pharmaceutical Sciences, ABCF created the ABCF Young Investigator Award, which is presented in each ABCF Congress. The award is offered by ABCF to research in all fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences performed by graduate students who meet the following criteria:
- Be the first author;
- Be a graduate student, MSc or PhD student, during the ABCF event;
- Have performed the research at a Research Institution/University in Brazil;
- The advisor must be an ABCF member.
For the first phase of selection, all abstracts submitted which fulfill the above criteria and the author indicate the willingness to compete when submitting the abstract will be able to compete. Abstracts will be selected by members of the Abstracts Review Committee of the Congress. A Selection Committee indicated by ABCF Board will select the five best abstracts among those indicated by the Abstracts Review Committee which will be presented at a special session at the Congress. The five finalists will be contacted by the Selection Committee to send an expanded abstract (details of format will be given later). For the oral presentation, the slides MUST be in English and the presentation may be in English or Portuguese. The presenter will have 15 min for the presentation plus 5 min for questions from the Selection Committee, which will choose the best work. The presenter of the best work will be awarded with a certificate and additional award. The other four students will receive certificates.
